Halloween at Home!!

Halloween at Brook Farm Court! As soon as Seb woke up on Saturday morning, he wanted to get into his dracula outfit!! Libby had spent all day on Friday putting together her pirate outfit with her friend Olivia (pictured!) She can even make that look glam!! Charlie, my nephew, asked to come and stay with me when he got wind of us going trick or treating as he has never done it before! I painted all there little faces (no comments from Paul please!!)complete with fake blood which Seb thought was completely fab! Once they were ready, pumpkins were lit, they set off as soon as darkness fell and went trick or treating around the courtyard! Seb was interested in the 'Trick' bit so I had to take his mind off it and concentrate on having the sweets. I want to get on with my neighbours! Charlie wasnt that impressed!! There's no pleasing some people................ bless him !

Day Trip to Weston Super Mare

How muddy does that water look?!!! but its the seaside and we all needed a seaside fix and weston was the closest!! It was half term and my Monday off so I packed a picnic and drove to the closest beach!! It was a lovely day (a dump!) but a lovely day. On the way back we popped into Ikea, Bristol and managed to fit a table, 4 chairs, Molly Seb Libby and Me in my little freelander!!!

Family Walk at home!

The weather has been just wonderful so we all set out on Sunday morning for a family walk enjoying the beautiful scenery on our doorstep!

Sebs First Day at School

Sebs first day of school was full of mixed emotions!!! He was so exicited until he got to the 'leaving Mummy' bit!! The teachers had to peal him off me, it was horrid. The next day he silent cried (which is worse in my book!!) It took a few weeks before he settled. The little girl with Seb is Gabi who lives next door and we give her a lift most morning which helps Seb as he has a little friend to chat to in the car!!

Weekend in Cornwall !!

A welcome to Cornwall cup of sparkling wine to start my Birthday weekend away with the children and Molly dog!! Emma and Rich arrived within minutes of us getting there and helped us get the tent up and blow up those airbeds. First night was raining like mad so loads of water came in, the air beds began to deflate so bottoms were touching the cold hard ground and all of a sudden Camping didnt seem like a great thing to do after all!!!

Emm and Richard insisted (thank god!!) on us staying in their wonderful caravan and even gave up there bed while they slept on the sofa bed in the living room. So we were still sort of camping!!!

I was very very spoilt with a handbag birthday cake complete with nail varnish and lipstick made from icing. The boys made a lovely card..I had a beautiful pair of sparkly flip flops and a pedicure at the Cow Shed spa in Rock!!! The children had so much fun body boarding, I even dusted down my wetsuit and had a go...forgotten how much fun it is!!! Seb and Lib had a ball spending time with the boys, we all had such a lovely weekend!!!

WEEKEND IN LONDON!

At the beginning of August we went to London for the weekend to stay with one of my bestest friends Jason and his partner David. We had such a great time doing tourists things in the centre of london to having a 2 1/2 walk picking blackberries!!

Our First Crop!!

Seb couldnt wait to pull up the carrots to see if we really really grew them. Somewhat premature but still a carrot!!!

As for the potatos, what a crop!! got about 5 meals worth out of one small container!! Had them roasted too!
